week 14: heart beat

This months appointment, I got to hear the heart beat of my little baby, which is about the size of my clenched fist!Wow what a feeling that provoked in my heart! I wanted to cry and laugh all at the same time! I now know that my little baby is alive and doing well! In just 3 weeks, I get to call in to the hospital and make my appointment for the ultrasound! That is going to just be amazing! I will finally get to see what gender my little baby is! :-) Well, I am getting bigger! Starting to show more and more! If you didn't know I was pregnant, you would probably think I was just a bit on the fatter side LOL!
This last week, I have been REALLY short of breath and have had a hard time catching a good breath! I guess it is due to the fact that my lungs can't expand like they used to... It is really bothersome especially during the night when it wakes me up! My lower back has continued to bother me! however, we just got a new bed and that seems to help a bit! We shall see how it goes over the next couple nights! Well, that is it from me! See you next time!

  1. I've experience the short of breath thing too. It's sure annoying. Oh boy, do I ever have aches in my lower back, sleeping is miserable..I toss and turn all night. I bought a memory foam topper for the bed and it didn't help at all. I finally talked Richard into ordering a pregnancy body pillow which I haven't got yet, but the reviews were great. I sure hope THAT helps. I'll let you know. It's all gonna be worth it though when that baby is here!! Can't wait to find out the sex! Sounds like with appointment scheduling you might find out what sex your baby is before we find out about ours. Enjoy every minute! It's wonderful!
